Product Details

The Foil Drive MAX Travel Battery is designed for riders who want to take their gear to their favorite destinations without leaving their power behind. It breaks down into three airline-approved sections—two at 129.6Wh and one at 97.2Wh—that can be easily reassembled with a few screws. Once joined, the battery forms a complete 9Ah (350Wh) unit, offering slightly more capacity and runtime than the MAX Sport Battery. For storage, charging, and usage, it can remain fully assembled. Due to the added length from its connector parts, the MAX Travel Battery requires the longer “A” Nose Cone for the Assist MAX.

Most airlines permit travelers to carry two spare batteries rated between 100–160Wh, though some may require pre-approval. Please note, Travel Batteries are intended for use in Assist Mode only and are not designed for continuous e-foiling.

Like all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the MAX Travel Battery is IP68 certified for protection against water and dust. Its single main power plug features larger connectors to supply power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging, while included dust caps provide extra safety during storage and transport.

The MAX Travel Battery delivers up to 20% maximum boost for 15 seconds and is compatible only with the Foil Drive Assist MAX. Proper care is essential to maintain the longevity and performance of your Foil Drive battery. Guidance on lithium battery use, care, and storage is available for reference.
