Planning to take your Foil Drive Assist PLUS on holiday? With the Small 4.2Ah Batteries, you can. Each battery has a capacity of 120.9Wh, which is under the 160Wh airline travel limit, making them approved for transport on most flights.
The Small 4.2Ah Battery is a lithium-ion battery designed exclusively for the Foil Drive Assist PLUS system and is not compatible with the Assist. On its own, it is ideal for winging or experienced downwind foilers who want to minimize weight. Due to its compact size, it can only deliver full power for short bursts to get up on foil and cannot be used for continuous e-foiling.
When paired, the included Parallel Y Lead connects two Small 4.2Ah Batteries together, providing the capacity of an 8.4Ah battery (about two-thirds of a Standard Battery). Two units are designed to fit neatly inside the electronics box, and it is essential to follow the placement and orientation guidelines provided.
