This additional Lithium-Ion battery is designed exclusively for the Foil Drive Assist PLUS system and is not compatible with the Assist. The Standard 12.6Ah Battery weighs 1.7kg, while the smaller 4.2Ah Battery weighs just 0.6kg and is not suitable for e-foiling.

The Small 4.2Ah Battery is ideal for Wing Ding riders or experienced downwind foilers who want a lighter setup for easier pumping and turning. It provides short bursts of full power to get up on foil but is not intended for continuous use. With a capacity of 120.9Wh, the Small Battery is also airline-compliant, as it sits under the 160Wh travel limit, making it possible to take your Foil Drive Assist PLUS on holiday.

When flying, it is important to contact your chosen airline in advance to obtain approval and follow their safety requirements. Dangerous goods rules are taken very seriously and must not be ignored, so please review the relevant guidelines before traveling.

For extended sessions, you can pair two Small 4.2Ah Batteries together using our Parallel Y Lead, creating a medium-capacity setup that enhances your Assist PLUS experience.

Each battery is purpose-built and thoroughly tested for the Foil Drive Assist PLUS system. A built-in Battery Management System (BMS) ensures safe operation by controlling the charge rate, balancing individual cells, regulating voltage cut-offs, monitoring internal resistance, and managing temperature.

If you are purchasing a new battery and already own a charger, you may need a V2 Battery Adaptor Lead. The V2 batteries feature updated plugs, which means original V1 chargers require this adaptor, available separately
