Crew Match 2025: A Big Win for the Sailing Community in Falmouth, Maine

The docks were buzzing and the clubhouse packed as Crew Match 2025 kicked off the sailing season in high spirits at AFLOAT in Falmouth, Maine. Hosted by GMORA, SailMaine, Regatta Custom Merch Solutions, and Quantum Sails Downeast, this year’s event exceeded expectations, bringing skippers, crew, sponsors, and sailing enthusiasts together in a celebration of connection, community, and all things sailing. 

⛵ A Record-Breaking Turnout

The turnout for this year’s Crew Match was nothing short of phenomenal.

  • 19 skippers pre-registered, and 7 more joined the day-of, for a total of 26 skippers actively looking to build their crews.
  • 46 crew members pre-registered, and an estimated 30+ walk-ins brought the total crew turnout to more than 75.
  • In all, 135 attendees+ gathered to celebrate Maine’s vibrant sailing scene and gear up for the upcoming regatta season.

The energy was high, the room was full of handshakes, new connections, and the shared excitement of an incredible sailing season ahead
