The Wichard Gyb Easy Boom Brake is a practical and safe solution for controlling gybes on sailing boats, reducing the risk of injuries and equipment damage. Utilizing the specially designed Gyb'Flex line, the brake allows the boom to gybe smoothly without jerks, with friction increasing as the line passes through the openings. It offers three adjustable positions to adapt to different mainsail sizes and wind conditions, ensuring optimal performance. Easy to install on an eye strap of the boom, it includes two fitting options to suit various deck configurations. Designed for mainsails up to 40 sqm, the Gyb Easy Boom Brake is crafted from anodized aluminum and supplied with a 16m, 11mm Gyb'Flex line.
