The Davis Universal Masthead Mount is designed to extend your WindTrak 10.Sport or WindTrak 15 vane away from masthead obstructions and turbulence for improved accuracy and visibility. Its 13-inch (33 cm) arm includes versatile hardware that supports side or top mounting with adjustable offset angles up to ±20 degrees. This mount attaches securely to flat, curved, vertical, horizontal, or inclined surfaces, making it adaptable to nearly any masthead configuration. By positioning the vane farther from interference and optionally mounting it on the back of the mast, sailors gain clearer cockpit visibility and more reliable wind readings. Weighing just 3.2 ounces (90 g), the boom can be shortened if needed, and the mount is compatible with the WindTrak Light #3200 and Davis J-Base Mounts using #10 stainless steel screws and nuts (not included).
