The ACR SR203 VHF Handheld Survival Radio is a professional-grade emergency communication device designed for marine safety and survival situations. The SR203 features a rugged, high-visibility housing with laser-etched controls and a high-contrast backlit display for easy use in low-light or emergency environments. Once activated, the radio automatically tunes to Channel 16, allowing immediate distress communication with a single button press.
Powered by a long-life, non-rechargeable lithium battery, the SR203 provides over 16 hours of operational life, even in low-temperature conditions. A built-in battery protection tab keeps the unit in a preserved state until activation, ensuring readiness during emergencies. For routine use or training, an optional rechargeable battery and charging cradle are available.
