The ACR Pathfinder SART w/AIS is a fully approved AIS Search and Rescue Transponder designed to comply with IMO SOLAS regulations and meet mandatory SART carriage requirements for vessels governed by GMDSS. Utilizing AIS class-A position reports, it transmits eight position messages per minute to provide real-time tracking of emergencies. With rugged construction and a compact form factor, the Pathfinder AIS transmits GNSS/GPS coordinates to all AIS-equipped vessels within VHF range, ensuring prompt distress alerts even in adverse weather conditions. The device features NFC technology for easy registration and testing, a lithium battery providing 96 hours of operational life, and an average detection range of 5 nautical miles. The SART comes with a wall mount for convenient storage, and an optional telescopic pole extends visibility out of life rafts.
