The ACR Firefly PRO WATERBUG SOLAS is a high-performance, water-activated rescue strobe designed for maximum visibility in marine emergency situations. Built to meet professional safety standards, this compact strobe automatically activates upon contact with water, ensuring immediate signaling without manual operation.
Featuring four operating modes — automatic water activation, ultra-bright strobe, SOS strobe, and steady-on — the Firefly PRO WATERBUG delivers a powerful 360° light output of 41 candela, visible from over 3 miles away. Its cool white LED light is optimized for long-range visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions.
Designed for durability in harsh marine environments, the WATERBUG uses energy-efficient electronics to provide over 56 hours of strobe operation or 28 hours of steady-on illumination using standard AA lithium batteries. The rugged, waterproof housing fits easily into life jackets or gear pockets, while integrated lashing loops and an included Velcro strap allow secure attachment to PFDs or safety gear.
