The Wichard Captive Pin Twisted Shackle 5mm Diameter 3/16" is forged from grade 316L stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The captive pin remains connected to the shackle body at all times and locks securely into one of the indentations, preventing loosening due to vibrations. Designed for single-handed operation, it provides safe and reliable use, especially in setups requiring a 90° angle twist. Ideal for attaching unarticulated parts such as blocks on rails or for purchases, this shackle delivers outstanding working and breaking loads while offering dependable performance in marine applications. Note that Part #1422 is not suitable for lifting applications.
