The Davis WindTrak 15 Wind Vane delivers exceptional performance and value, making it one of the most trusted wind indicators worldwide. Its sapphire jewel suspension bearing, large fin with low inertia, and fully adjustable tacking tab system ensure smooth, precise wind direction readings. Ideal for cruising and racing boats 15 feet (4.6 m) and above, it offers excellent visibility day and night thanks to reflector tape on the vane and tacking tabs. Built for durability, WindTrak vanes are wind-tunnel tested to 80 knots and designed for years of reliable use when properly installed. The WindTrak 15 features a 15-inch (38 cm) vane, includes a through-bolt or drill-and-tap mounting socket with stainless hardware, stands 12.75 inches (32 cm) tall, and weighs only 3.6 ounces (101 g). A bird-proof spike extends an additional 10 inches (24 cm) to prevent birds from landing.
