Product Details

The Fusepart Tail D/LAB is a carbon rear fuselage component designed to integrate seamlessly with all Duotone D/LAB front wings. Once connected using the concealed M6 bolt system, the assembly presents a clean, unified carbon structure with no exposed bolt heads, creating a semi-glider concept that closely resembles a one-piece construction.

The hidden bolt design is positioned beneath the mast, eliminating externally visible hardware typically found on comparable systems. The carbon construction ensures a rigid and low-maintenance setup, while the connection to the front wing uses either two M8 plus one M6 bolts (37 cm and 43 cm versions) or two M6 bolts (47 cm version), delivering stiffness comparable to a single-part glider assembly.

Available in three lengths—37 cm, 43 cm, and 47 cm—the tails correspond to different effective fuselage lengths when paired with a front wing. The 37 cm version (equivalent to 60 cm fuselage) is oriented toward tighter turning and a more dynamic ride, the 43 cm version (equivalent to 66 cm fuselage) balances maneuverability and control, and the 47 cm version (equivalent to 70 cm fuselage) provides maximum stability at higher speeds. An additional fourth M6 screw can be used with Blitz D/LAB wings for enhanced stability, while other D/LAB gliders include a fitted plug for the extra screw hole.
