Duotone Fuselage Aero AL 3BS - 2026

The Fuselage Aero AL 3BS from Duotone builds on the development of the 60 cm AL 3BS platform, extending the aluminum construction concept across longer fuselage lengths. By transitioning from previous carbon constructions to aluminum, the cross section has been reduced to decrease hydrodynamic drag while increasing overall structural strength. The weight increase is limited to approximately 2.5%, maintaining performance efficiency.

The reduced profile enhances glide characteristics, while a recessed rear connection allows the stabilizer to sit slightly integrated into the fuselage for improved hydrodynamics. Large cut-outs at the front wing mount further minimize weight without compromising rigidity. Although aluminum requires proper post-session maintenance, including dismantling and rinsing with fresh water, the design prioritizes performance gains in drag reduction and durability.

Available in multiple lengths, the Aero AL 3BS fuselage supports a wide range of disciplines from advanced wing and prone setups to allround wing, SUP, pump, downwind, and windsurf configurations. It is compatible with Duotone wings from SS24 onwards, all Fanatic Aero wings, and Duotone D/LAB, SLS & AL 3BS masts, including QM masts, as well as Fanatic carbon masts.
