The Uniden BCD996P2 is a powerful digital base and mobile scanner designed for comprehensive emergency and public safety monitoring. It offers access to 25,000 channels, Close Call RF Capture with Do-Not-Disturb, and TrunkTracker V technology for APCO 25 Phase 1 and 2, X2-TDMA, Motorola, EDACS, LTR trunked systems, as well as conventional analog and P25 digital channels. The scanner supports S.A.M.E. weather alerts and NOAA weather channels to keep users informed of severe conditions in their area. Location-based scanning with a compatible GPS receiver automatically selects local systems for efficient monitoring. The package includes the BCD996P2 scanner, AC power adapter, DC wiring harness, antenna, and USB cable.
