The Uniden Remote Mic for UM725 VHF Radios in white is a fully functional second-station microphone designed for remote operation of your UM725 series fixed-mount VHF marine radio. It allows complete control over channels, DSC distress functions, NOAA weather channels, and private text messaging. The large landscape-oriented full dot matrix LCD provides clear visibility, with selectable bright white backlight for daytime and orange for nighttime use. The remote mic includes intercom functionality with the main radio, is IPX8 waterproof for submersion up to 4.9 feet for 30 minutes, and comes with a 24-foot interconnect cable, microphone hanger, and mounting hardware. Optional extensions up to 75 feet provide flexibility for installation anywhere on your vessel.
