Description
The Uniden Remote Microphone is a wired second-station accessory for UM725 fixed mount VHF radios, offering full remote control of the main radio, including channel selection, DSC distress signaling, and NOAA weather channels. It features an intercom function between the main radio and the remote microphone, a large landscape-oriented full dot matrix LCD display with selectable white or orange backlighting, and supports private text messaging over marine channels. Built to withstand marine conditions, the remote mic is IPX8 rated waterproof, submersible up to 4.9 feet for 30 minutes. Included accessories are a 24-foot interconnect cable, microphone hanger, and mounting hardware, with optional extensions up to 75 feet.
