The Stash is built around a single-skin design with closed-cell double-skin tips, focused on stable flight, responsive depower, and unmatched packability. This combination allows for performance across a wide range of wind conditions and riding angles, all while maintaining the minimal weight and compactness essential for long-distance gliding and true free-flight sensations.

Engineered for Flight

Refined over months by our kite and wing designer Ken Winner in close collaboration with downwind pioneers Finn and Jeffrey Spencer, the Stash isn't just a tool to get on foil—it's designed to overcome the challenges of true free-flight, making this experience more accessible to a wider range of riders.

We’ve used an ultra-light 30g paragliding ripstop canopy that inflates earlier, stays airborne longer, reduces gust impact, and packs down incredibly small. Moving away from standard kite and wing materials was a deliberate choice for both performance and portability. We also sourced thinner bridle lines to minimize drag and further optimize the Stash’s stowability.

Hybrid Skin Innovation

By combining single- and double-skin concepts, our design team created a wing that delivers easy handling, gradual depower, and stable flight. The single-skin main body ensures minimal weight and efficient packability, while the double-skin tips stay filled and controlled—even in challenging conditions. The stabilized leading edge and reduced number of ribs add to the Stash’s flying efficiency and simplicity.

Simple Setup, Seamless Re-Launch

The Stash is designed for practical use on the water. It features color-coded bridles, a clearly marked center on the leading edge for easy grabbing during re-launch, and an intuitive color code on the ergonomic carbon control bar—so you always know which side leads. Every detail is aimed at making true free-flight more intuitive and approachable.

At its core, the Stash is about capturing the pure joy of foiling—light, effortless, and free—when your wing is stashed and the glide takes over.

Recommended Board & Foil Setup

Parawinging is more technical than wing foiling. Without an inflated wing in your hands, balance becomes more challenging. We recommend starting with a larger board and a Glide foil typically used in SUP Downwind Foiling. One big advantage: with the Stash, you can ride significantly shorter boards—like the Skybrid, our perfect pairing. If you already own a Downwinder, that will also work great for your first sessions.
